A Chillicothe native, Ashlyn is a recent graduate of Shawnee State University where she earned an RN degree. She currently works at Southern Ohio Medical Center while she continues her education at SSU for her Bachelor of Science Nursing. She plans to pursue graduate school and become a nurse practitioner.
A member of the SSU Cross Country and Track team, Ashlyn is glad she can now express the more artistic side of herself as a Pro dancer. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside, working out, traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to having eleven years of gymnastics and serving as a coach for six years, she helped choreograph for the 2014 Dancing With our Stars and looks forward to being a part of this year’s show and do her part for her community.
Through the support of her family, friends, coworkers and teammates, she believes that she and her partner can make a big impact and bring awareness to the community about the importance of the Red Cross. Ashlyn looks forward to "cutting a rug" with her partner Dr. T.J. Stidham and reminds all her friends and family - every vote for T.J. supports the local Red Cross.
