Technical rehearsal was quite impressive as our talented dancers showed off their technique and some were quite unique. They definitely demonstrated the many hours spent practicing during the past 3 months. They also had the opportunity to meet with our official hair and make-up specialist, Trina Bender of Studio 32 who along with her qualified staff are donating their services. Some of the dancers are taking advantage of spray-tan services provided by Jacquelyn Shively of Beautifully Bronze Mobile Tanning. With only a week until the big show, everyone is practicing daily and hoping their friends and families cast a vote or two their way. Every $1.00 donated counts as one vote towards their quest for the coveted Fundraising Mirror Ball Trophy. Online voting is open through Wednesday, March 18th at https://www.crowdrise.com/DWOS/fundraiser/ohiorivervalleychapt Of course, the final outcome won't be known until Saturday evening as the votes collected during the past 5 months will be added to those they receive at the show. Every dollar donated supports the life-saving programs provided by the local Red Cross. |
